I had to wait for an appt but when I tell you it was well worth it! I was very pleased with my stylist @Hair Lingo. It took me a while to find someone who could treat & style my natural hair after my regular beautician of many years could no longer service me. It was a drive, but I will be making it from now on so Imani can do what she do!

Alisha (insta : afro_tamer) did my box braids very fast and I was in and out. I have never had anyone get me in and out so quick and my braids are beautiful !!! She is a licensed cosmetologist and gave me so many good tips on how to tame my natural fro! She put an oil on my hair that detangled my hair very well and was smooth like butter in her hands and I have very thick 4C hair! The shop is beautiful and offers water which I love and the staff there are professional and lovely. Overall, I loved my experience and will be back!

Great experience! Very clean and cute store layout. Refreshments were available. Styled by Imani in less than the estimated time. Got box braids and she does a very good job of hiding my hair under the braid. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Overall amazing job!

I am big on being on time (retired military). When I arrived for my 9am appointment Alisha (Afrotamer) was there and ready to go. She did an outstanding job detangling my hair and gave me suggestions on shampoos and good detangling brushes. She’s nice and it very knowledgeable about hair. Oh yeah, she did an AWESOME job with my braids. It’s been a couple of weeks and they still look great. Thanks Alisha, I’ll definitely be back!!!

Ok, so about three weeks ago I started my loc journey with Styles by Imani. I’m pleased with how well my hair has held up during this time as well as her attentiveness of answering all my questions & concerns. Tomorrow is my next visit for my first retwist, which I’m super excited to have done. She has made this journey for me easy even though it has been very challenging for me to get over this frizz & knots I feel in my hair! (Yes, I keep reminding myself that it is part of the process).
